Provides an opportunity for beginning level string players to engage in the San Diego Youth Symphony experience. The ensemble focuses on teaching beginning level skills such as fingering, tone quality, pitch identification and sight-reading to first and second year string students. The goal of this ensemble is to let beginning students further their abilities in an orchestral setting. Placement is by audition. Rehearsals will be held from 1:30pm - 3pm.
